Finding Gems and Sharing Them

OK, yes, I have been at this for a while but I started young! Philosophically I am a conservative, limited government freedom lover. I was a co-founder of R3publicans in 2008 (after the Ron Paul campaign). OKGrassroots and Constitutional Liberty Coalition arose out of local coalition efforts and teaparty efforts in the 2009/2010 timeframe. I live in Oklahoma now, but I grew up in Texas and was a cofounder of Associated Conservatives of Texas in the 90’s. We launched the Traveling Liberty Bell there with my good friends the Halls. Ring the bell whenever you get the chance!

Together we are working to restore the republic and proclaim liberty throughout the land.

For Life and Liberty,
Sandra Crosnoe

New Series for New Moms — Dear Mama by Rachael Joy Tapp

If you are just starting a family or well on the way you don’t want to miss this series.  i’ve only known Rachael Joy Tapp for a few years, but it seems like we’ve been friends forever.  She has wisdom beyond her years.  She lives in the Panhandle with her husband, Joshua and their children.

Rachael and Joshua lost their first child during the pregnancy. They have a precious two year old daughter, Hadassah, and just recently gave birth to premature twins, Levi and Gideon.  So she has a bit of life experience but she wraps that in practical tips and guidance from above.   I know you will enjoy each segment so be sure to connect with her and her blog.   I will try to add links to this post as they are released.

Here is her own bio in her own words.

Here is the series announcement.

William Norman Grigg died this afternoon. He was a journalist, broadcaster, editor, musician, father, husband, and self-described Christian Individualist. He was also my hero.

Will’s main beat was stories about individual victims of the state: particularly Americans who have been unjustly imprisoned or wrongfully assaulted by government officers. His research for each article was exhaustive. From his home in Idaho, he traveled all around the northwest to get the story in person. He would get to know each subject personally, and seek face-to-face interviews with their powerful persecutors. His tireless work has saved several innocent lives from being slowly drained away in prison. He wrote so many pieces about Christopher Tapp, a man who has spent two decades in prison for a murder he did not commit, that the Libertarian Institute, where he was managing editor, will publish a whole book collecting them.

Trump says a lot in a few words  “We must do a lot more with less”  Hiring freezes are already in place and he is working on a cabinet that knows how to manage wisely.  All this bodes well for the overworked American taxpayer.

Congratulations to Mick Mulvaney — here’s the backstory and some insight into how good he is as an appointment .

“Part of the job is saying ‘no,'” Mulvaney told The Post and Courier on Friday, less than 24 hours after being sworn in as the new Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Finding Gems & Sharing Them – President Trump on Budget & Spending Cuts along with the Mulvaney Appointment – a real win for the Taxpayer!

“For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.”

scott-adams-blog-dilbert-a-targetThis weekend I got “shadowbanned” on Twitter. It lasted until my followers noticed and protested. Shadowbanning prevents my followers from seeing my tweets and replies, but in a way that is not obvious until you do some digging.

Why did I get shadowbanned?

Beats me.

federal-revenue-by-type-1900-2020-by-gary-north-the-revolutions-wereRevolutions do not occur overnight. They build up over a long period of time, and they take place very rapidly. This phenomenon applies to many areas of life. The old story that Hemingway wrote about the man who described his bankruptcy went as follows: it went slowly, and then very fast.
