Trump says a lot in a few words “We must do a lot more with less” Hiring freezes are already in place and he is working on a cabinet that knows how to manage wisely. All this bodes well for the overworked American taxpayer.
Congratulations to Mick Mulvaney — here’s the backstory and some insight into how good he is as an appointment .
“Part of the job is saying ‘no,'” Mulvaney told The Post and Courier on Friday, less than 24 hours after being sworn in as the new Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Don’t you wish the elections only happened once or twice a year and not when only a few people know they are happening so they can foist their will on the rest of us? And just to make matters more confusing – some areas have an election and some do not. So do your own research and be sure (see link below and at the end of the article)
Here’s a list by county so you can see if you have an election in your area >>>
With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in God’s likeness. My brothers, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. James 3:9-12
Isn’t it interesting how good and evil can come forth from the same mouth? One minute we are praising God and the next we are cursing or tearing down our fellow man. Out of the same mouth that praises God comes insults, cursing, slander, gossip, etc., etc. The Bible tells us that this should not be. It also tells us that the tongue is very difficult to tame and control. I believe, though, that with God’s help, it can be tamed and controlled.

It would seem to be a no brainer, that your representatives assigned to various committees would actually consider the bills brought before them. However, ask any activist involved for more than one cycle if you want to hear the war stories!
The House officially convenes on Monday, February 6, and their first order of business will be to adopt the rules which will govern how they operate for the session. On that day, a representative will propose the adoption of the “Open Government Rule,” which states, “A bill shall be heard and receive a vote in committee if the primary author requests it in writing; and a bill, having passed committee, shall be heard and receive a vote on the House floor if the primary author requests it in writing.”
“For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.”
(excerpt from Inauguration Speech by Donald J. Trump on January 20, 2017)

You who want to take from others by force to perform some “good” are promoting violence against your neighbors, your friends, and your families as well as those you dislike.
The “good” you seek does not wash away the violent means. It is not moral to take from others by force no matter that there will be some that benefit. It does not matter that you may not perceive the harm you are doing to others. It is there if only you are willing to consider.
To force others to labor for your desires is enslavement and theft no matter your good intentions.
This goes for all relationships, personal and otherwise, and yes, even governmental.

2016 is the year not just Oklahomans but American voters spoke loudly and clearly regarding the direction they want to see our state and country go. The 2016 election was a mandate to our elected officials that the time has come to get the job done. No more excuses!

And so once again I send blessings from my house to yours. I thank God for your friendship and your labor for Life and Liberty in our land.
