Liberal Mary Fallin Appointed Co-Chair of RNC Platform Committee
Here is an anecdote that perfectly exemplifies the state of play within the modern day Republican Party.
Oklahoma is easily among the most conservative states, if not THE most conservative state, in the country. Yet, because we live under a political oligarchy, the most conservative state cannot even stop the most extreme leftist concepts, namely, that men are women too.
Governor Fallin’s Despicable Betrayal
OKLAHOMA CITY — [On May 20th] Governor Mary Fallin vetoed SB 1552 which would allow for the revocation of medical licenses for doctors who perform abortions after viability. The measure has an exception to save the life of the mother. The Oklahoma Senate passed the bill yesterday 33-12.
SB 1552 was authored by Sen. Nathan Dahm. Yet this legislation was initiated by a local pastor, Paul Blair, with the support and guidance of Liberty Counsel. Mat Staver met with the Attorney General, Governor Fallin and members of the House and the Senate to discuss the proposed bill late last year. The governor approved the bill and gave her assurance she was behind it…
We are shocked and disappointed (to say the least) that HB 3016 has been vetoed by Governor Mary Fallin. This should be a wake up call to every Oklahoman that the state does NOT want you to know what is in your child’s vaccines.

Many assumed that the release of the Planned Parenthood exposé videos from the Center for Medical Progress would rouse a long-slumbering church at last to raise a sustained, united cry of virtuous outrage to help turn the tide of public opinion against the great evil of our age, abortion.
Such assumptions, it seems, were overly optimistic.
To be sure, there have been scattered accounts ofawakening among Christian leaders and their congregations repenting of decades of culpable silence. But by and large, serious activity hasn’t come from pastors and their flocks but, once again, only from seasoned sanctity-of-life advocates already passionately engaged in trying to resuscitate the moral sensibilities of a nation in the midst of upstaging the Nazis.
Just as when Kermit Gosnell’s house of horrors went viral there was an initial flutter of shock and outrage, so it is again with the CMP videos. Initial indignation over the gruesome revelations has quickly faded and churches have lapsed back into “business as usual,” as if the much-publicized horrors never happened.
No one was really surprised to see again just how determined the mainstream media is to ignore the plight of the pre-born. But who would have thought the church would join in?
These flyers are available on Scribd to read, or print or download. There are three pages in this document. The first page has all the issues on one page and as such must be tiny print and is a little hard to read. The second and third page are designed to be front and back of one page or two pages as shown. They have slightly larger print and are a lot easier to read. If you want to see the source just go to Rand Paul’s Website and click on the top tab ‘issues’. Special thanks to Gage Skidmore for the CPAC 2014 photo – one of my all time favs! While you are there make a donation to the campaign or order some bumper stickers for your vehicles. Please share with friends and neighbors and have fun at the same time.
Let’s get out there and defeat the Washington machine so we can unleash the American dream!
What does it mean to be a conservative?

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin (R) is attempting to end the state’s funding for Planned Parenthood because of what she described as a “high rate of billing errors.”
Fallin asked Oklahoma’s health department on Thursday to terminate its contracts with the group after an official review of the state’s two affiliates found billing error rates of 20 and 14 percent.
“These results are alarming,” she wrote in a letter to the department. “The lack of attention to the requirements imposed on a responsible provider is a continuing problem for these Planned Parenthood affiliates.”

Today I voted “No” on the Continuing Resolution (CR). Continuing Resolutions are a failure to govern, a failure to represent the people, and a failure to exercise the power of the purse.
The House passed the bills to fund the government in the proper process. The Senate failed to take up any of them due to Democrat filibusters. Accordingly, a CR was presented as the only option for funding the federal government.
Representatives should be able to appropriate funds for programs the people approve and withdraw funds from those they oppose. In Federalist 58, James Madison said, “The power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people…

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion provider, performing 327,653 abortions in 2013 (last reported year). That is an average of 898 abortions every day, 37 abortions every hour, 3 abortions every 5 minutes and more than 1 abortion every two minutes.
During this same year, according to its own statistics, Planned Parenthood only provided 1,880 adoption referrals and 18,684 prenatal services. This means that in 2013, abortions made up 94.1% of these three pregnancy services, while prenatal care and adoption referrals accounted for only 5.4% (18,684) and .5% (1,800), respectively.
A GAO report requested by pro-life Members of Congress reveals that over the course of three years (FY2010-2012), 6 abortion advocacy groups received $481 million in federal funding, as well as about $1.2 billion in combined federal and state funds under federal health programs that require shared funding. The majority of the federal funding for the 6 abortion groups was disbursed through HHS and USAID.

The Detestable Act of Abortion Shows Insight on our Nation
Anyone who is a dog owner has had that moment when they catch their dog drinking from the toilet bowl. Upon admonishment, the dog gives you a quizzical look that says, “Is something wrong”?
Perhaps it is an unfair comparison, and it is obviously not even in the league with things that go on in society, but it does convey the analogy that people often become so desensitized to detestable things that they not only don’t detect that their behavior is wrong, but fully believe that absolutely wrong is absolutely right.
We have seen this repeatedly during human history, case after case of man’s inhumanity to man, where one man no longer perceives another man as a human being, and thus feels no shame or remorse at the mistreatment of his counterpart.
Of course, the most prevalent example of this is one that took place during the lifetime of some of our oldest living citizens, Adolph Hitler and Germany. An acquaintance of mine who grew up in Germany during Hitler’s rise to power said that he was seen as someone who was going to save his or her nation. At tht time Germany had suffered a humiliating defeat at the end of World War I, and was in a deep depression, both financially and mentally.
