Principled limited government constitutional conservative Representative Jim Bridenstine (OK-1) has introduced the GRACE Act, (H.R.3245) a bill to prohibit federal government contracts from going to companies that donate to Planned Parenthood. He has also sponsored numerous other bills to cut direct government funding to the organization.
Congressman Bridenstine (pictured) said, “The government should not do business with companies that facilitate Planned Parenthood operations. Every child has value. Every person has a purpose. Most Americans are horrified at the thought of expertly crushing the bodies of pre-born, living babies and ‘harvesting’ organs.”

Eighteen House conservatives told GOP leaders Thursday that they will not support any measure to fund the government if it continues to fund Planned Parenthood.
“We must act to fully defund Planned Parenthood,” they wrote in a letter obtained by The Hill. “Please know that we cannot and will not support any funding resolution — an appropriations bill, an omnibus package, a continuing resolution, or otherwise — that contains any funding for Planned Parenthood, including mandatory funding streams.”
The letter was addressed to Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), who all have expressed concern about several leaked videos that show Planned Parenthood officials caught on hidden cameras discussing aborted fetal tissue.
“It is imperative that Congress do everything within its power to investigate these reports and take immediate action to stop them,” the Republicans wrote, adding that they want leadership to hold a conference meeting as soon as possible to discuss the GOP’s plan.
The letter was signed by …

Today, Congressman Jim Bridenstine introduced the GRACE Act, a bill to prohibit federal government contracts from going to companies that donate to Planned Parenthood. He is already sponsoring numerous other bills to cut direct government funding to the organization.

Planned Parenthood has been exposed in recent days as not only a major provider of abortions but also as a marketer of baby parts harvested from their victims. This horrific practice is funded by the American taxpayer at a rate of more than $1.4 million per day. The $528 million Planned Parenthood received from government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements in fiscal year 2013-2014 accounted for 41 percent of their overall revenue. An additional 30 percent of revenue, $392 million, was received from private contributions and bequests.

Over the last few weeks we have been exposed to the evil of Planned Parenthood. Through hidden cameras and special investigations, those willing to stand on the side of life have uncovered unspeakable acts.
The Republican Party lists in their platform that all life should be protected, because life is created by a Sovereign God. The Democrats, on the other side, stooped so low as to take out even the mention of God at their National convention several years ago.

Pastors from all over the city led prayers over various topics from Marriage to Business, to Media and more. Together we prayed out loud a prayer of repentance – chilling in it’s scope. While I have attended the day of prayer events in the past and even called people to join in — this time there was something different in the air. I don’t know if people realize how much trouble we are in as a nation, but they seemed to. There was a spirit of humility in the air, a sense of urgency to get it right, a calling that we must beseech the Lord for His grace and mercy in this time. We have failed to do the things necessary to protect this nation in this hour. We do not know if there is time to turn things around, but we do know the solutions are beyond our abilities. We will need the intervention of the Lord God Almighty every step of the way.
