In this episode, I cover the tea parties – concerted acts of resistance against the Tea Act of 1773 – that broke out in many of the colonies. While almost all histories of the timeframe concentrate on the Boston Tea Party, I felt it was important to cover how other colonies responded to the Tea Act as well. I conclude by foreshadowing the British policies to come, which would treat Massachusetts especially harshly for their radical gesture in Boston Harbor.
