H.R. 1228 Will Terminate Executive Order 13166

Last month, I asked for your support of Senator Inhofe’s National Language Act, S.991.  It was the first step in our campaign to make English the official language of the United States.

And today I am asking you to help English First take the next major step by supporting Congressman Peter King’s H.R.1228, the bill that repeals former President Clinton’s Executive Order 13166.

The Inhofe and King bills, one in the House and one in the Senate, will do it all:

* They make English the official language of the United States;
* They eliminate the federal mandate that has forced government to squander billions on an effort to make America multilingual; and,
* They pave the way to reunite all Americans behind our common language, English, that has served our nation well for more than 200 years.
