Constitution Day Event with Sheldon Richman on Sep 17th at Oklahoma Memorial Student Union

YAL Constitution Day EventThe writing and ratification of the U.S. Constitution is broadly construed as an advance for individual liberty and limited self-government. But the historical context perhaps tells a different story — a story of counterrevolution.”

At 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday September 17th (Constitution Day), in the Heritage Room of the Oklahoma Memorial Union, Sheldon Richman of the Future of Freedom Foundation will be doing a presentation on the move from the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution, favoring the anti-ratification perspective often ignored in contemporary discussions. The event is being hosted by the Future of Freedom Foundation, as well as the student groups OU Young Americans for Liberty formerly/https://www.facebook.com/ouyal/events and OU Students for a Stateless Society.

About Sandra Crosnoe
To answer the call to serve as a watchmen on the wall, I have been a grassroots activist for a long time almost fifty years now (and yes I started young!). Philosophically I am a conservative, limited government freedom lover and a co-founder of R3publicans in 2008. I currently live in Oklahoma and serve as Communications Director for OKGrassroots and Constitutional Liberty Coalition but I cut my teeth on politics with Associated Conservatives of Texas and the Traveling Liberty Bell. Thank you for all you do for life and liberty too! Finding Gems & Sharing Them R3publicans OKGrassroots Constitutional Liberty Coalition
