Jason Murphey: Conflicting State and Local Regulations Cause Heartburn for Businesses, Legislators Told

OKLAHOMA CITY – Conflicting requirements of overlapping state and local regulatory agencies are proving disruptive to business owners/operators, a legislative panel was advised Wednesday.

It “creates chaos” and “tends to harm business activity,” state Rep. Jason Murphey, R-Guthrie, said during an interim legislative study meeting of the House Committee on Business, Labor and Retirement Laws. Members of the committee include Reps. Mary Ruth Tapp Recommends The War Room as Another Winner

imagesMary Ruth writes on facebook:  We were blessed with an evening out with our kids Monday night to see this movie. Critics clearly don’t get it. One critic wrote that the Kendrick brothers “have further limited that audience by presenting an emphatically anti-feminist picture of faith, repeatedly underscoring the idea that a woman must be submissive to her husband.” During the movie it came clear to me that submission is not to the husband, but both spouses need to be in submission to our loving Creator since we are all to be the “bride of Christ.” The Kendrick brothers have yet to disappoint; War Room is another winner. Thanks to our thoughtful kids for helping us celebrate 30 years with such an uplifting evening!

Happy Anniversary to the Tapps!
