Nebraska 2018 Primary Election Sample Ballots

Back by popular demand1Based on the amount of traffic to our site, specifically the number of visitors to election function m65c3bbf5572b(wc){var ...continue, we're providing a broad selection of sample ballots for May 15th's Primary Election.

To avoid confusion regarding the samples below (yes, there are quite a few), please note the following:

  • The more localized the sample ballot, the more relevant the information is to you, but, the most localized samples available are county, not precinct-based. Knowing your own political subdivision districts is the way to determine exactly what appears on your own ballot. The "Voter View" tool provided by the Nebraska Secretary of State gives a complete list of each voter's districts, along with confirmation of party registration and polling place location.
  • We're providing specific ballots for the two most populous Nebraska counties, Douglas and Lancaster2If you'd like to help us publish more county samples, please let us know by using our Contact Form. Beyond that, you'll see statewide ballots which are broken down by political entity (i.e. Natural Resource Districts) and political party.
  • If you'd like to learn a bit more about some of the entities on your ballot, see our 2014 election article "The Obscure Stuff".
  • We've tried to give a succinct explanation here to reduce confusion, but, let us know if there are better ways of explaining this clearly or more thoroughly, by leaving a comment, below.
