Permission Not Required: Constitutional Carry Bill up for Consideration in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (Jan. 9, 2018) – A so-called  “Constitutional Carry” bill introduced in the Nebraska legislature would make it legal for most Nebraskans to carry a firearm without a license, and foster an environment hostile to federal gun control. Sen. Tom Brewer (R-43) introduced Legislative Bill 502 (LB502) last year and it will carry over…

Jeff Sessions Reminds Us of Our Need for the Tenth Amendment

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and his obsession with unconstitutional marijuana prohibition is a glaring reminder of the fact that we either demand restoration of our Ninth & Tenth Amendment authority, rights, and responsibilities no matter reconstructions’ adulteration, or finally dismantle the facade we use to hide our true governance; bureaucratic socialism. Since the Republican…

2017 Was Safest Year for Cops in Nearly 50 Years—Worst For Citizens

"Data from 2017 reveals that the idea that there is a 'war on cops' is nothing more than police propaganda, as the number of officers killed in the line of duty dropped to the second-lowest total in more than 50 years. Conversely, there were over 1,000 people killed by cops for the fourth year in a row, according to the website killedbypolice.net, which operates a database of individuals killed by law enforcement officers."

California’s War on Guns Broadens to a War on Ammunition

"California’s war on guns will soon broaden to a war on ammunition as a ban on the possession of bullets purchased out-of-state takes effect January 1, 2018. According to the Sacramento Bee, it will also be illegal 'to transfer or buy ammo' from anyone other than a licensed dealer within the state, beginning January 1. California residents can order ammunition from a catalog as long as they have that ammunition shipped to a licensed dealer for pickup. The dealer will then add a 'processing fee' to the cost of the ammunition."

CA “Heroes” Beat Motorist Over Tinted Windows, “Missing” Front Plate

"In Pasadena, CA some 'heroes' (aka, law enforcers) noticed a motorist driving a car with windows that were tinted 'too much' and which was missing its front license plate. These are heinous offenses against the peace, you see. Can’t that let that go. A stop was initiated. Which quickly led to a violent beat down of the unarmed, unresisting motorist."

Dirt Boxes: The Newest Government Tool for Warrantless Privacy Invasion

"That plane flying overhead could very well be scooping up your most intimate data, especially if you live in Texas. The Texas National Guard has reportedly equipped two of its RC-26 military aircraft with cell phone data-collecting dragnets, known as dirt boxes. The ability of government agencies to add new modifications to their aerial surveillance capabilities without any real oversight should sound an alarm for all Americans, not just those who live in the Lone Star State."

"The Trump Administration decided Monday to deport nearly 200,000 El Salvadoran refugees who fled gang violence and natural disasters. El Salvadorans received TPS in in 2001 after a series of earthquakes left tens of thousands homeless. The program was signed into law by President George H.W. Bush in 1990."

How Immigration Crackdowns Screw Up Americans’ Lives

"Although the U.S. has been illegally deporting citizens for over a century, the number started soaring when Congress eliminated the right to judicial review for criminal aliens in the 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act. The idea was to remove the barriers to ejecting immigrants who posed a danger to Americans. But the result was a general weakening of legal protections and the rise of an unaccountable immigration bureaucracy that itself has become a danger to Americans."

Conservatives again Choose Partisanship over the Constitution

Over the last few days, a lot of conservatives have complained about our posts saying states should refuse to cooperate with federal marijuana prohibition enforcement. We’ve heard that we’re bad for “picking and choosing what laws to follow or break.” We’ve been repeatedly told that states aren’t allowed to do such things. We’re told that…
