“The right of any State to exercise police control over citizens on the public domain within the State is recognized by the Supreme Court of the United States.
The right to graze on the public domain has been recognized by the courts and is considered a property right.
This study has shown that active livestock producers in Nevada are warranted, on some or all of the following ground s, in believing that their interests should be carefully considered in any adjustments that may be made: They own the lands and control the irrigation waters that are the keys to the use of practically all the grazing lands, they hold nearly all the grazing preferences in the national forest of their State, they have most of the possessory rights on the public domain, they hold most of the stock-water allotments made under the laws of the State,….”[emphasis added]

Our Sheriffs are learning that there is no law that compels them to enter into any agreement (cooperative) with the federal governments. Ranchers are discovering that there is no federal law that requires them to enter into or sign a permit. The federal courts , SC’s have ruled but the agencies keep trying to convince the public that they have authority. The previous post, with Glenn Palmers illustrates this underhanded activity by the federal agencies. Its time to remove these agencies from our states. Send them packing. The attempted removal of all ranchers from the land then with your tax dollars subsidize these CAFO operations,(Confined Animal Feeding Operations) and large corp farms and business’s, such as monsanto,cargill, and others. These facilities are shooting anti biotics and steroids into our animal protein products that you buy at your local grocery store. Read “Animal Factories” by David Kirby. We are currently importing beef , due to the efforts by the USFS and BLM , Sierra Club, to reduce the number of cow /calf herds on the western range. These so called environmentalist are doing great harm to the public. Not to mention the negative economical impact on the local communities. The Sheriffs are our remedy. Contact yours today.
