April Fools . . . or Just Fools?

(Joint post by Linda & Shelli)

The first day of April is, of course known as the day of pranks and jokes…it’s “April Fool’s Day”. Unfortunately, too many of our news headlines read like they are pranks and jokes everyday of the year. And also, unfortunately, too many of our elected officials and too man y people in positions of influence are serious contenders for the title of fool.

Now that we are at the end of April, we thought it fitting to rewind on some who may qualify for a special prize in the arena of foolishness. Take a look at these videos, and decide for yourself.

Congressman Phil Hare (IL)

Congressman Hank Johnson (GA)

ACORN’s CEO Bertha Lewis

President Barack Obama (oh, and a bit of former President Clinton also)
