I’d say he’s exercising his right to remain silent
BP CEO Hayward even had a reminder at the beginning of the morning circus with some crazy woman screeching “You should be in jail!!” I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the woman was a scheduled event.
The whole ridiculous Democrat novella seems so far to be nothing more than their usual grandstanding for points, a lecture as Hayward sits and is forced to watch.
Not that BP shouldn’t eventually be held accountable, but how many idiots have to jump up on a table and ask stupid questions such as; “Do you expect to be CEO much longer?”, and “What are your conclusions as to what happened at the Deepwater Horizon?”. As if the investigation is anywhere close to being complete.
If we’re going to be stuck watching a circus, we should at least get free peanuts.
