Apparently a majority of House members (78 unofficial tally) adopted the “Pelosi Position” of voting on the bill to know what was in it and voted to pass the Federal Level One Grant Appropriations bill HB 4111 for the implementation of the Health Care Exchange!
Rep Howrylak (R-Troy) of the House Appropriations Committee, who voted no on passing HB 4111 out of Committee stating he hadn’t been given access to the approved grant document for the funding.
The bill will now go the Senate where we will continue to concentrate our efforts. I will post a ROLL CALL as soon as it posted in the House Journal. As always we will keep you updated on any new activities.
