the South Carolina senate sent a bill over to the state house which would authorize the growing and production of industrial hemp within the state, effectively nullifying the unconstitutional federal ban on the same.
The bill, known as the "Government Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Act," states that 'a law enforcement agency may not obtain, receive, or use data acquired through an unmanned aerial vehicle unless the data is obtained pursuant to a search warrant

HB1620 would regulate the use of drones by governments, as well as individuals. It would require search warrants to use for surveillance and levy fines for violations. It also bans lethal or nonlethal arming of drones in the state.
Yesterday, the Idaho state house passed a bill which would effectively nullify future federal gun laws by prohibiting state enforcement of any future federal act relating to personal firearms, a firearm accessories or ammunition. The vote was 68-0. It previously passed the state senate by a vote of 34-0, and will now go to the Governor's desk for a signature.
