Now in Effect: Florida Law Legalizes Permitless Concealed Carry in the State

Under the law, persons over 21 can legally carry a firearm without a permit in Florida. The state will maintain its concealed carry licensing process for those who wish to get a permit in order to carry in other states that maintain CCDW reciprocity with Florida. Residents will only need to have a valid ID on them while concealed carrying.

Now in Effect: Florida 2nd Amendment Financial Privacy Act

The 2nd Amendment Financial Privacy Act prohibits a payment settlement entity, merchant acquiring entity, or a third-party settlement organization from assigning a merchant category code or otherwise classifying a merchant that is a seller of firearms or ammunition separately from general merchandise retailers or sporting goods retailers.
