Michigan Bill Would Set Foundation to End Unconstitutional National Guard Deployments

Titled the Defend the Guard Act, the legislation would prohibit the governor from releasing the Michigan National Guard or any member thereof into “active duty combat” unless Congress has passed an official declaration of war or has taken an official action under article I, § 8, clause 15 of the Constitution to explicitly call forth the state militia to execute the laws of the United States, repel an invasion, or suppress an insurrection.

Michigan Bill Would Take on Federal Gun Control Past, Present and Future

A bill introduced in the Michigan House would ban state and local enforcement of federal gun control, past present and future. Passage into law would take a step toward stopping federal acts that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms within the state.

Michigan Bill Would Legalize Possession and Cultivation of “Magic Mushrooms” Despite Federal Prohibition

The proposed law would exempt people from criminal penalties for the possession, cultivation and delivery of plants and fungi that naturally produce DMT, ibogaine, mescaline, psilocybin and psilocin as long as the individual is not “receiving money or other valuable consideration for the entheogenic plant or fungus.”
