Epic End of World Fail – Again!

Seriously, I don’t care how sincere a person may seem, NOBODY can tell you when God is going to call His people home. Not when the world will end. Nuttin’. Not no way, not no how.

Harold Camping may seem like a nice guy, and he probably is. But he’s also seriously screwed up if he thinks he can come up with some super-secret numbering system to tell everybody when the end is coming;

They spent months warning the world of the apocalypse, some giving away earthly belongings or draining their savings accounts. And so they waited, vigilantly, on Saturday for the appointed hour to arrive.
When 6 p.m. came and went across the continental U.S. and various spots around the globe, and no extraordinary cataclysm occurred, some believers expressed confusion, while others reassured each of their faith. Still, some others took it in stride.
“I had some skepticism but I was trying to push the skepticism away because I believe in God,” said Keith Bauer — who hopped in his minivan in Maryland and drove his family 3,000 miles to California for the Rapture.

Camping seems to have started off sane, but when he fell into the prediction game, he took a bad road, in my opinion [my highlight];

In 1992, he published his book 1994? where he predicted that the world would end, though he wasn’t certain about the year; he was only certain that it would happen sometime soon.

In 1994, his followers gathered inside Alameda’s Veterans’ Memorial Building to wait for the return of Christ. People dressed themselves in their Sunday best and held their Bibles open faced towards heaven.

But nothing happened.

Camping said that was just a “preliminary study,” hence the question mark in the title of the book, and he spent the next decade completing that study.
More on Camping’s history-

So where is Harold Camping now? Locked inside his house, it seems. Hopefully he’s reading Matthew 24:36 and will come out soon and tell everyone he was wrong and so stop the idiocy from going any further.

Yeah, the bible guarantees it's GOING to happen, but NOWHERE does it say EXACTLY when…

Camping’s website is still up as of this writing, still making the same dire prediction. Atheists are no doubt having a field day, connecting all Christians to the actions of one man. And that’s the real danger, isn’t it? It’s fun to laugh at the nut-cases (which I do to my own shame, but likely I won’t stop), but in the end if following some fool destroys one’s faith…let me just say if somebody has ideas about “When the world is ending”, maybe they should just shut up about it?

Yeah, that’ll work.
