Harry Reid makes it clear, private business not as important as Government jobs

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) made it clear today he’s ignorant about the sad state private business is in today;

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Wednesday said Congress needs to worry about government jobs more than private sector jobs, and that this is why Senate Democrats are pushing a bill aimed at shoring up teachers and first responders.

“It’s very clear that private sector jobs have been doing just fine, it’s the public sector jobs where we’ve lost huge numbers, and that’s what this legislation is all about,” Reid said on the Senate floor.

Strange that he would say that, as public sector jobs are far ahead of private sector jobs not only in the amount of pay, but just the sheer numbers of jobs lost.

First, since when is the federal government’s responsibility to provide police, firefighters, and teachers to cities and states?

Second, is Reid so stupid that he thinks private businesses are doing “just fine” today? There’s a few million unemployed who might disagree with that assessment.

Nevada, you screwed up reelecting that clown.
