The Code Pink-os are drooling in their butter again, now asking that Obama pardon the “alleged” WikiLeaks traitor (I don’t just throw that term around loosely) Bradley Manning.
Private Bradley Manning, a 22 year old intelligence analyst with the US Army, stands accused of disclosing a classified video of American troops shooting civilians from an Apache helicopter. New evidence links Manning to the Afghan War Logs posted on WikiLeaks this week. He faces up to 52 years in jail. The whistleblower behind the Vietnam era’s Pentagon Papers, Daniel Ellsberg, has called Mr. Manning a “hero”.
We believe that without the efforts of people like Bradley Manning who risk prosecution to show the truth, the information we need to hold our government accountable may never be made public.
Of course, even now under Obama, nothing may be classified Secret or above without some idiot leftist’s approval. Even the idiot leftists in the Obama administration seem to be suspect.
Well, in the “Anything that’s bad for America must be good” meme, they even have a support network for Manning, because, you know, “exposing war crimes is not a crime”. It’s filled with “insightful commentators” who all seem to agree that death for civillians in time of war is only bad when it’s accidentally caused by America. When the Talidan in Afghanistan or AQI intentionally kill civilians, it is of course again “America’s Fault™” yet again.
They want Manning pardoned, without a trial? I suppose I’d be a bad person for calling for Bradley Manning to be hung without a trial? Well, I won’t do that.
I want him hung after his trial. If he’s guilty, that is. Which he is. But I’m not opinionated.
