Tis the season for electioneering. Everybody is focused on Trump, Clinton, and maybe a few of you on Gary Johnson. America will spend billions of dollars to pick the next president. Is it worth it? Will anything really change – no matter who wins the election?
Americans focus almost all of their attention on national politics. Political action centers around who is in the White House, Congress and on the Supreme Court. Vote the bums out! Protest and petition in D.C.! Sue in federal court! These are all losing strategies.
In this episode of Thoughts from Maharrey Head, I look a better way to bring about political change – from the bottom up. Stop calling the 202 area code and focus on state and local action.
