West Virginia House Passes Bill to Prohibit Using Credit Card Information to Track Firearms Purchases Without a Warrant

The legislation would prohibit any West Virginia governmental entity from accessing or obtaining a record of a transaction involving a credit card that is retrieved, characterized, generated, labeled, sorted, or grouped based on the assignment of a firearms code without a warrant or a subpoena in most situations.

Nebraska Committee Holds Hearing on Bill to Ban State Enforcement of Most Federal Gun Control

The proposed law would also bar any Nebraska government entity from utilizing assets, state funds, or funds allocated by the state to engage in any activity that aids a federal agency, federal agent, or corporation providing services to the federal government in the enforcement of the same.

Georgia Bill Would Ban Enforcement of Federal Gun Control; Past, Present and Future

The legislation would ban any person, including any public officer or employee of the state and its political subdivisions, from enforcing any past, present, or future federal “acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, rules, regulations, statutes or ordinances” that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.
