Some Good News for a change – Ivory Soap and Three Ted Talks

I’m sure that most of you are relieved that I’ve stopped sending out my bathers weekly sometimes daily, and yep sometimes twice a day, well those days are over. There are however certain events that happen that cause me to fire up the old address book and for about 4 hours click send. Today is one of those days.

For as long as I can remember, starting in my twenties, I’ve been plagued with leg cramps. I’ve had doctors tell me, to take more calcium, a recent prostate exam revealed that prescription was wrong.  I’ve taken potassium Magnesium Asportate, a Amish vinegar/Ginger concoction, various creams, and yes, even quinine. All with some results but none absolute.

Recently my wife, who works at a local hospital was talking to a nurse about my situation.

Now these leg cramps of mine were severe, in fact the pain was such that I would beg the Mrs, to go out in the garage and fire up the chain saw.  Fortunately for me, she’s never paid much attention to my demands. Because this nurse told her about a remedy that is so simple that I’m sure most of you will think we’re nuts.ivory_old_1954

The remedy: I now go to bed every night with two bars of Ivory Soap. Its been two months since Ive had a leg cramp at night. I don’t even get that occasional restless leg feeling, that use to be a precursor to a cramp.

Yesterday we decided what could possible be in Ivory soap that would stop the cramps. So we looked at the ingredients on the packaging and discovered that there are several forms of sodium in Ivory soap.

I’m sure most of you know that the skin is the largest organ in the body. Our conclusion is that the sodium in various forms is leaching in the skin while I sleep. The medium is trans-dermally!  I remember in high school our football coach had us taking salt tablets, to prevent cramping.

I’ve alway been interested in medicine both traditional and alternative. The advancements taking place today in the medical arena are astounding. The problem is this Obama care will ultimately kill innovation and discovery here in the US. Which will drive research off shore. In one of the presentations that I’ll post a link to, the presenter states that our National Institute of Health was asked to drive a portion of the 27 billion dollars they get each year from tax payers for funding research of these new promising advances in medicine. Of course they declined. Anyway, I know many of you suffer with these leg cramps, so give it a try, it’ll cost you about a dollar a bar.

In an interview a few years ago, while running for Governor, Bruce Olsen said, "We are running out of time. I’m convinced I can work with other governors to save our Republic. I have a plan, should our country fall apart. We must be prepared. It’s important that our people become debt free. I am also hoping to change the way we title property. We must see to it that Americans actually own what they pay for. One more thing. We must learn that the individuals that our media promotes for elected office, are the ones we must run from." Bruce Olsen lives in Arizona and shares from The Arizona Sentinel. His main site went down in 2016 and this link contains some of his earlier work.
