Boston’s Progressives: We Support Our “Voluntary” Police State

"While many of us look in horror at Boston's destruction of what is left of the Bill of Rights, Bostonians themselves are in full congratulatory mode, as those who gave us Political Correctness now redefine the Police State, and proudly so. From the ultra-Progressive Boston Globe to the 'man on the street,' Boston's citizens are telling us that 'shelter-in-place' was not martial law but rather a selfless act of voluntary cooperation with the experts. And How Dare anyone express a different viewpoint! Indeed, this photo of a police officer threatening to shoot someone for looking out the window does seem to signify what our 'civilization' has become." Continue reading

Christian Bishops Kidnapped by US-Allied Syria Insurgents

"Today, Syriac Orthodox and Greek Orthodox Archbishops of Aleppo, Yohanna Ibrahim and Paul Yazigi, were kidnapped by US-allied Islamic insurgents in the village of Kfar Dael as they were 'carrying out humanitarian work'. The two high-ranking Christian bishops were outspoken in warning about the threats to the religious balance in Syria posed by the Islamist extremists who have received the weapons provided by Saudi Arabia and Qatar with US transport support via Croatia. The US-backed rebels regularly violate the sanctuaries of Christian churches in their pursuit of a Syria ruled by Sharia law." Continue reading

City Removes “Don’t Tread on Me” Flag From Abandoned Building

"The city of New Rochelle, New York owns an empty building. It has been empty for years. Why does it own an empty building? Why doesn’t it sell it? No one seems to know. No one asks. It used to be owned by the U.S. Army, but the Army wisely abandoned it. A veterans group decided to hoist the famous Gadsden flag: a coiled snake and 'Don’t Tread on Me.' Now the city council has removed the flag. Why? Because it is supposedly a Tea Party symbol. The Tea Party wants tax cuts. It wants wasteful government cut back. This would mean wasteful empty buildings. The symbolism was too much for the city council." Continue reading

New York lawmaker: I would torture an American citizen

"New York state Sen. Greg Ball (R) on Monday night reiterated his belief that Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev should be tortured even though he is a U.S. citizen. 'I’m telling you as Greg Ball, if personally put in a room with anybody from the most current scumbags to Osama bin Laden I’m telling you what I would do. As far as policy of the United States, you’ve got to take it up with your man Obama,' Ball explained. He later said he was 'firmly' in support of torture if it could help save American lives." “The Kill Team”

"Americans, anxious to believe that the paramilitary forces going house-to-house in Boston were agents of civilian protection, also refuse to look the ugliness of the 'kill' and 'kick-ass' culture of the U.S. Armed Forces and modern American policing. Anyone who saw footage and photos of the searches in Watertown can see instantly that the average resident was seen by the police to be just as much a 'terrorist' as Dzhokar Tsarnaev. A new documentary, 'The Kill Team,' looks at the lives of young American soldiers who murdered people in Afghanistan literally for sport." Continue reading

FBI Failed to Track Boston Terrorist Suspect’s Flight to Russia: Misspelled Name

"It turns out that the FBI failed to register the fact that the Boston bomber flew to Russia in 2011. Someone misspelled his name when he got on the plane. You mean that the nation’s suspected-terrorist monitoring system is dependent on correctly spelled names? Yes. You mean that billions of dollars in sophisticated equipment can be tripped up by people with peculiar last names? So it seems. You mean that the TSA’s screening system, with X-ray machines, latex gloves, and long lines doesn’t work for bombers with odd last names. Sadly, yes." Continue reading

Jim Sinclair: Swiss Bank Refuses Physical Gold Delivery On “Anti-Terrorism” Grounds

"A person that I know with significant deposits in one of the primary Swiss banks, in allocated gold, wanted to take out his gold and was just refused on the basis of directives from the central bank. They told him the amount was in excess of 200,000 Swiss francs and the central bank had instructed them not to do it because it has to do with anti-terrorism and anti-money laundering precautions. I really wonder whether those are precautions or whether the gold simply isn’t there. It has to raise our suspicions that the lack of physical gold behind the paper gold is literally so severe that we are coming to understand that it is in fact not there." Continue reading

Takedown Of Paper Gold Unleashes Global Run On Physical Gold And Silver

"Precious metals dealers now find themselves being overwhelmed with orders in the United States, in Canada, in Europe and over in Asia. Will this massive run on physical gold and silver soon lead to widespread shortages of those metals? Instead of frightening people away from gold and silver, the takedown of paper gold seems to have had just the opposite effect. People just can't seem to get enough physical gold and silver right now. Those that wish that they had gotten into gold when it was less than $1400 an ounce are able to do so now, and it is absolutely insane that silver is sitting at about $23 an ounce." Continue reading

A Ton Of Gold Bricks: What Capital Flight Looks Like In Italy

"Curious why so little has been said about cash flowing out of Italy's banks, especially when even UniCredit's CEO today proudly warned everyone he is all for confiscating uninsured deposits as long as 'everyone else is doing it' - and no, he is not kidding, so when it does happen, nobody will be able to say they weren't warned. Maybe it is because Italian cash is actually not leaving the country at all. Instead, real 'wealth' is departing the boot-shaped nation, quietly and under the radar, as fast as it can in another form: gold. Continue reading

War Street Journal Declares the USA to be a Battlefield

"What these people are saying: Federal law must assume that every inch of continental U.S. soil is a battlefield in which the rules of battle apply and that due process of law goes out the window. A permanent battlefield is not a place where people can enjoy any freedoms at all except for those temporary refuges that come about when government lifts an order for a short time. As for anything like a free economy, forget it. A nation under permanent martial law -- and that is what the WSJ really is advocating -- is a nation of drones serving a governmental master."
