Texas House Committee Passes Bill to Ban State Enforcement of Federal Rules and Regulations on Oil and Gas Production

To the Governor: Arizona Bill to End State Enforcement of Federal Regulations on Firearm Sound Suppressors

Since the passage of SB1109 would legalize firearm sound suppressors and remove all state restrictions on the same, federal laws regulating them would become "inconsistent" with state law. That would end state and local cooperation with enforcement of the federal regulations.

Arkansas House Passes Bill to Limit Tracking Using Central Bank Digital Currencies

The legislation would prohibit using a "digital currency tracker" to track an individual's purchases or location through the use by an individual of digital currency without a warrant or unless the individual consents to the tracking. The bill explicitly states that digital currency includes central bank digital currency (CBDC).

Missouri House Committee Holds Hearing on Bill That Would Take Steps Toward Treating Gold and Silver as Money

The legislation would take steps to treat gold and silver as money in Missouri and encourage its use as such, including making it legal tender, and eliminating the state capital gains tax on gold and silver. It would also prohibit any public entity of the state from requiring payment in the form of any digital currency, including a central bank digital currency (CBDC).

Signed as Law: Florida Allows Permitless Concealed Carry in the State

Under the law, persons over 21 can legally carry a firearm without a permit in Florida. The state will maintain its concealed carry licensing process for those who wish to get a permit in order to carry in other states that maintain CCDW reciprocity with Florida. Residents will only need to have a valid ID on them while concealed carrying.
