"Has Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine helped get a potentially dangerous product off the shelves or does he just have no sense of humor? Maybe he should be heeding Alcoholics Anonymous’ famous Rule No. 62: 'don’t take yourself too damn seriously.' Here’s the issue: does a coffee mug that mimics a prescription bottle and says 'Prescription Coffee, RX#: VRY-CAF-N8D, Drink one mug by mouth, repeat until awake and alert' make fun of prescription drug abuse? "Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has sued Forbes magazine for libel in a British court, alleging its valuation of his wealth at $20 billion was short of the mark by $9.6 billion. The prince, a grandson of Saudi Arabia’s founder and nephew of King Abdullah, had attacked the US magazine’s ranking of world billionaires as flawed and biased against Middle Eastern businesses. Through his Kingdom Holding Company, Prince Alwaleed owns large stakes in Citigroup, News Corp and Apple Inc, among other companies. Everyone who voted 'Yes' on this should be voted out of office. The House of Representatives passed an amendment (315 to 108) to the National Defense Authorization Act that says 'It is the policy of the United States to take all necessary steps to ensure that Israel possesses and maintains an independent capability to remove existential threats to its security and defend its vital national interests.' Remember, Bernanke and the Fed are convinced that higher interest rates will kill any sustained recovery. Nothing will shake them from that idée fixe. Therefore they will do anything to prevent high interest rates—including walking back this talk of ending QE, and upping the dosage as need be to achieve their goal of sustained, consistent zero-percent interest."
