Tennessee Bills Take on Asset Forfeiture, Close Federal Loophole in Most Cases

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 7, 2017) –  Bills introduced in the Tennessee legislature would reform asset forfeiture laws to prohibit the state from taking property without a criminal conviction.
