When you encounter a situation, what do you see? Do you see the glass half empty or the glass half full? How you perceive a matter may effect the way you respond to it. What is the proper response? I am not going to tell you the answer, because I do not know for you. I only know what I am learning — albeit very slowly.

What we see is not the entirety of a matter. We can only see from our limited perspective. We cannot know another’s heart in the matter; we don’t even know our own most of the time.

Wisconsin: Paul Ryan Gets Primaried by Paul Nehlen – Here Comes the Teaparty!

paul-ryan-heritage-scoreHouse Speaker Paul Ryan’s Wisconsin primary opponent Paul Nehlen said of Ryan on Saturday, “He has betrayed us all, hasn’t he? He says he’s for a secure border. Then what’s he do? He funds every dangerous immigration policy through this $1.8 trillion omnibus. What he funded was all his special interest buddies.”

Nehlen’s comments came during an exclusive interview Saturday with Breitbart News Saturday SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon. Nehlen pointed out again that 83 percent of Ryan’s camapign donations come from D.C., not his home district: “The vast majority comes in the form of large campaign donations from inside the D.C. Beltway. … He sold his vote. He sold his vote. The same people that are donating to his campaign want these open border initiatives. This isn’t a Free Trade deal.”

There will never be another!

Because its Thursday and we are disgusted and fed up with that swamp we call the District of Columbia . I thought today would be a great day to change the tone, so here goes.

Will the Shemitah be a time to celebrate or mourn? Be ready!

jonathon-cohn-on-capitol-hill-april-29

Author and Bible teacher Jonathan Cahn says he has been so swamped with questions and concerns about the looming end of the Shemitah year on Sept. 13 that he can’t answer them all.

“We have been deluged with people calling, emailing, asking questions from all over the country, wanting to know what’s happening. So we decided to put out a video,” Cahn told WND via email.

In the message, posted to YouTube, Cahn calls for a period of national prayer and repentance leading up to the pivotal month of September.

He also issued a new warning about a “desecration” that often precedes judgment and is already present in American society. He calls for Christians to prepare for persecution and get ready to stand for God in a coming period of strife that will increasingly be devoid of “gray areas” or middle ground.

In the video, he says his main theme continues to be that of judgment visiting America. This will bring a “shaking” in the financial and economic realms. These tremors may spread beyond the economic realm.

Local Voter Guides 101 — Video Instructions via Brian Crumby and CCMC

Brian Crumby Videos

Brian Crumby with Conservative Coalition of Montgomery County in Texas

These videos will tell you how to put together a voter guide for your county and give you some thoughts on ways to make the process simple and effective.  Of course the voting window from filing deadline to election is fixed and the work must be accomplished inside that window to be most effective.  More people are early voting these days so the guide should be timed to be out ahead of early voting.  Special thanks to my good friend in Texas, Brian Crumby for this video series and a special thanks for all his hard work over many years standing for life and for liberty and for a lot less government too! (Note: CCMC = Conservative Coalition Montgomery County)

This revealing item from Obama’s Ed. Sec. Arne Duncan– address to a UN group in Paris:

“In March of 2009, President Obama called on the nation’s governors and state school chiefs to “develop standards and assessments that don’t simply measure whether students can fill in a bubble on a test, but whether they possess 21st century skills like problem-solving and critical thinking and entrepreneurship and creativity.” Virtually everyone thought the president was dreaming.

But today, 37 states and the District of Columbia have already chosen to adopt the new state-crafted Common Core standards in math and English. Not studying it, not thinking about it, not issuing a white paper—they have actually done it. Over three-fourths of all U.S. public school students now reside in states that have voluntarily adopted higher, common college-ready standards that are internationally benchmarked. That is an absolute game-changer in a system which until now set 50 different goalposts for success.

“The second game-changer is that states have banded together in large consortia to develop a new generation of assessments aligned with the states’ Common Core standards. In September, I announced the results of the department’s $350 million Race to the Top assessment completion to design this next generation of assessments.” more
