Listen TONIGHT – LIVE
Friday, February 4, 2011
6:00pm – 8:00pm
Shelli has been asked to sit in once again for Kaye Beach
on the Axxiom for Liberty radio show.
Perfect timing! There’s a lot to talk about…
- High costs for public employee salaries and benefits is a problem everywhere, but it’s an even bigger one in Nebraska because of the CIR (Commission of Industrial Relations) and collective bargaining
- Important information about Monday’s hearings at the Nebraska Unicameral on the proposed bills that would affect the CIR
- Have you ever heard of REAL ID? Most states have begun implementing it, including Nebraska.
- The Health Care Law: Is it all over now that the Virginia judge ruled that it is unconstitutional?
Kaye’s usual co-host, the excellent Howard Houchen will be performing “master of ceremony” duties for us.
Linda will be calling in to give us a brief version of the presentation she put together for the Omaha 9/12ers about the CIR. It was very well done, you’ll want to tune in!
We also hope to hear from State Senator Tony Fulton, who is trying to fit a call-in into his busy schedule. If he can make it, he’ll give us some history on his efforts to reform CIR and the bill he’s introduced this session.
