“I was contacted by the anonymous donors with an offer to help as a response to special interest billboards and the Governor’s tour promoting the expansion.’
Fabiano goes on to say,” The governor has taxpayer funded resources at his disposal to get his expansion message out and politically powerful special interests who stand to profit from the expansion have thousands of dollars to spend on billboards. This effort helps to give ordinary citizens who believe that the Expansion is a disaster for Michigan a similar voice.
We would like to see free market alternatives coupled with insurance and tort reforms that do not expand the size and scope of taxpayer government become a part of the discussion and so far with a few exceptions, we have not seen that. If legislators, as they say would really like to see better health outcomes and lower costs for citizens and businesses they need to slow down and seriously start taking into consideration these options.”
Another part of this campaign involves anyone who is opposed to the expansion by writing letters to the editor, and your Senator not only in opposition but including free market solutions coupled with insurance and tort reform – formerly http://nomiexpansion.com/solutions/ THAT has been missing from the conversation and needs to addressed.
The governor may have taxpayer funded resources and special interests have big money but we have the power of a constituent pen and a passionate and tireless voice in defense of our state that will not be silenced. That my freedom loving friends is real Relentless Positive Action!
