To the Governor: Kentucky Passes Bill to Ban Enforcement of Some Federal Gun Control, Including Pistol Brace Rule

the Kentucky Senate gave final approval to a bill that would ban state and local enforcement of any federal gun control enacted or implemented after Jan. 1, 2021. This includes the new ATF rule on pistol braces. Passage into law would take a step toward ending some federal acts that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms within the state.

To the Senate: Arizona Bill to Expand Ban on State Enforcement of Federal Gun Control

HB2394 would add language to include “any tax, levy, fee or stamp imposed on firearms, firearm accessories or ammunition not common to all other goods and services and that might reasonably be expected to create a chilling effect on the purchase or ownership of those items by law-abiding citizens” to that prohibition.

To the Governor: Utah Fake “Sanctuary” Bill that Ensures Federal Gun Control Enforcement Will Continue

the legislation includes so many exceptions it would do virtually nothing in practice or effect. And language in the bill would likely be a green light for state and local law enforcement to keep working with the ATF to violate the Second Amendment.
