Rhode Island Bill Would Legalize Raw Milk Sales; Foundation to Nullify Federal Prohibition Scheme

The legislation would amend statutes governing the production and sale of milk to legalize the retail sale of raw milk. Under the proposed law, raw milk could be sold in the state subject to the same regulations and permitting requirements as pasteurized milk.

Two bills that would nullify the controversial Common Core educational standards have been introduced in the Louisiana State House of Representatives.
