FBI vs. Actress Jean Seberg

"The U.S. government showed its totalitarian face by harassing Seberg for years and driving her into nervous despair. A false story planted in the LA Times and Newsweek led to a miscarriage that killed her baby and eventually to her death. The Leadership has a basket of techniques, legal and illegal, to discredit, pressure and chop down people this malicious society considers its enemies in the mass society that it seeks to control. The FBI is a Leadership organization. The FBI hasn't changed one bit since the 1960s and 1970s. It now creates terrorists and terrorist incidents that never occur. This acts to align mass society in support of the FBI and the Leadership." Continue reading

David Galland: Justice

"Regardless of what the popular corruption indexes show, when you take into account the systematic skewing of the judicial and electoral systems to favor the entrenched politicos and their friends in high places, the level of corruption in the Anglosphere would make an African despot blush. It's not an accident that the Republicans and the Democrats, two sides of the same coin despite all the rhetoric, are never remotely at risk of losing their collective grip on power – the system has been carefully and thoroughly rigged to prevent that from happening." Too little punishment for Pr. George’s police officer’s assault

"If a witness hadn’t shot video of two Prince George’s County police officers savagely beating John McKenna, a University of Maryland student, after a March 2010 men’s basketball game, that would probably have been the end of it. The officers didn’t file a report, as required, on their use of force. When initially questioned about the beating, they lied. And when they filled out the initial paperwork on the incident, police said Mr. McKenna had sustained his injuries, including a concussion, from being kicked by a police horse. Thanks to the video, and to the persistence of Mr. McKenna’s lawyers in uncovering it, the coverup didn’t work." Continue reading

Big Brother Spying Didn’t Stop Connecticut School Shooter … Or 9/11

"The separation between spy agencies and military operations has disappeared … to the point where the same unaccountable government agency which spies on all Americans also decides who gets assassinated by drones. And anyone who questions government actions or policies may be labeled a potential terrorist. And yet – even with Big Brother sticking his nose in every aspect of our lives – that total surveillance didn’t stop the Connecticut school shooter. Or the Batman shooter, the shooter of Congresswoman Giffords, Columbine, Virginia Tech, etc. etc. etc." Continue reading

You May Be a Suspicious Hotel Guest

"Do you routinely put the 'do not disturb' sign on your hotel room door? If you do, you may fit the profile of a suspected terrorist, and the FBI and Homeland Security Administration want to know about it. The FBI and HSA have released a joint bulletin to hotels throughout the world alerting them to potentially suspicious activities by hotel guests representing 'potential indicators of terrorist activity.'" Martial Law in One City: The Case of Paragould, Arkansas

"What Stovall and his fellow tax-feeders are 'fixing to do' is to leave the city’s streets clotted with SWAT operators toting AR-15s and official permission to harass anybody who comes within eyeshot. The marauders 'are going to be in SWAT gear and have AR-15s around their neck,' grunted Stovall at a town hall meeting held last Thursday at the West View Baptist Church. 'If you’re out walking, we’re going to stop you, ask why you’re out walking, check for your ID.' 'We’re going to do it to everybody,' Stovall explained, anticipating objections. 'Criminals don’t like being talked to.'" Continue reading

Armed SWAT Teams To Patrol Streets In Arkansas City

"Paragould, Arkansas Mayor Mike Gaskill and Police Chief Todd Stovall announced at a December 14 Town Hall meeting that beginning in 2013 the streets of their city were going to be patrolled by police officers bearing SWAT gear and AR-15s. 'If you’re out walking, we’re going to stop you, ask why you’re out walking, and check for your ID. [..] Will there be people who buck us? There may be. But we have a right to be doing what we’re doing. We have a zero-tolerance. We are prepared to throw your hind-end in jail, OK? We’re not going to take a lot of flack.'" Continue reading

Cops to Congress: We need logs of Americans’ text messages

"AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and other wireless providers would be required to record and store information about Americans' private text messages for at least two years, according to a proposal that police have submitted to the U.S. Congress. CNET has learned a constellation of law enforcement groups has asked the U.S. Senate to require that wireless companies retain that information, warning that the lack of a current federal requirement 'can hinder law enforcement investigations.'" The Totalitarian One-way Mirror

"An official document produced by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security describes photographers as potential terrorists. The 'Roll Call Release' of November 13 recounted several incidents in which innocent photographers were detained for using cameras in public facilities like airports and shopping malls. Those incidents were described as successes because they served 'awareness and training purposes' – even though they had nothing to do with capturing terrorists or deterring terrorist acts. While police are trained to treat cameras in civilian hands as lethal weapons, the government they serve keeps us under unceasing surveillance." Continue reading

Baltimore man gets speed camera ticket for going 0 MPH

"The City of Baltimore recently issued a ticket to Daniel Doty for speeding 38 miles per hour in a 25-mph zone — but photos and video captured by the speed camera system showed that his car was stopped at a red light at the time. Xerox State and Local Solutions, which is the contractor for Baltimore’s speed and red light cameras, said that each citation went through a two-step review to verify its accuracy, including an officer who must swear that the vehicle was going at least 12 MPH over the posted speed limit. Police spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi would not reveal which officer reviewed Doty’s ticket." Continue reading
