Radiation Plume Forecast Function of Wind and Weather from Japan Earthquake Aftermath

See a hypothetical drift of the plume from Japan Earthquake aftermath at Fukushima Nuclear Plant. [This is] A forecast by the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization shows how weather patterns this week might disperse radiation from a continuous source in Fukushima, Japan. The forecast does not show actual levels of radiation, but it does allow the organization to estimate when different monitoring stations, marked with small dots, might be able to detect extremely low levels of radiation. Health and nuclear experts emphasize that any plume will be diluted as it travels and, at worst, would have extremely minor health consequences in the United States

Sure, its all Fun & Games until Someone Gets Arrested- Mug Shots of the Young & Restless Progressives

“One consistent challenge in teaching is remembering how little students really know and how much they think they know. This is not a putdown of students. On the contrary, it is a celebration of optimism in the best sense of the word, the same optimism that was supposed to have inspired Winston Churchill to observe: …

If there’s weakness in the House, then it’s time to get fired up again

With Speaker John Boehner’s leadership thus far, he’s earned the House of Representatives a new nickname; “The Waffle House“. People who worked hard to see conservatives elected and to have “The Gavel” pried from Pelosi’s claw weren’t expecting to see timidity in reversing our nation’s backward slide beyond the ditch and off into the abyss. [...]

Japan Nuclear Plant Workers Evacuating as Radiation Surges in Earthquake Aftermath

e nuclear reactor situation in Japan has deteriorated significantly. Two more explosions occurred at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on March 15. The first occurred at 6:10 a.m. local time at reactor No. 2, which had seen nuclear fuel rods exposed for several hours after dropping water levels due to mishaps in the emergency cooling efforts. Within three hours the amount of radiation at the plant rose to 163 times the previously recorded level, according to Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency. Elsewhere, radiation levels were said to have reached 400 times the 'annual legal limit' at reactor No. 3. Authorities differed on whether the reactor pressure vessel at reactor No. 2 was damaged after the explosion, but said the reactor's pressure-suppression system may have been damaged possibly allowing a radiation leak. After this, a fire erupted at reactor No. 4 and was subsequently extinguished, according to Kyodo. Kyodo also reported the government has ordered a no-fly zone 30 kilometers around the reactor, and Prime Minister Naoto Kan has expanded to 30 kilometers the range within which citizens should remain indoors and warned that further leaks are possible.

History Has Proven Nullification a Failure – Just Look at REAL ID

This is Part 2 in a continuing series on nullification. For Part 1, click HERE. In Part 1, I explained that in the past year, I’ve come to realize that nullification is not a solution that should be pursued by the states. That change of opinion, the result of much research and reflection, includes a [...]
