On April 10, 2012, just four days prior to his 25th birthday, United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, of the 82nd Airborne Division, was critically injured by an IED while on patrol in Afghanistan. Travis lost all four limbs in the explosion, but he did not lose his spirit. Travis has a wife, Kelsey, and an 8-month old daughter, Chloe.
