New Testament Study Guides are being added to the Library

For a list of these study guides available online, please visit SCrosnoe on Scribd - Bible Study Guides by Jesse C. Jones.  If you hit a pop-up page asking you to become a member to read free, simply click the 'x' in the upper right corner to remove the pop-up and continue to our links on scribd. The books are free to all and do not require membership to read/download. They do not appear easily in search menus on Scribd, however, and you will need the links to access them. All of these books are in the process of being transferred into our CLibertyC Library and will be linked to the CLC version here when available. Here's what is available (study questions for most books have been added):

Books Are Being Added to the Library

Several years ago now, I worked with a dear friend and mentor to publish books for him. His name was Jesse C Jones and he was a lifetime friend of my family. His story and a little about the early days is in one of his books, A Man of God. When we originally published his books, we did so on the platform Scribd. It was a great place to store books, pamphlets, and documents and everything was free to publish and share. Since that time, they have tried to move the platform to a membership venue, but we are grandfathered in there at least for now. I don't like the way they try to get everyone who goes there to join now, but all of our books there are still free to read and download if you push past all that. But I don't know how long that will last either. Therefore, I am slowly adding the books that I want to be sure stay available to CLibertyC. I plan to leave them on Scribd as well. As these books are added, they will be indexed and linked here for your easy access below. They are being added by the date published so they are spread out back in time on this websites and not just looking as if they were current publications.

The Ways of Life

The human body is designed to provide many years of life in a continual disease free, good feeling, and functional state.  Such can come about by living a lifestyle that properly nourishes the body while keeping toxins and obstructions at a minimal level. Most accumulate higher levels of toxins and obstructions as they age.  Higher levels of toxins and obstructions cause pain, inflammation and disease.  This in turn in results in a lower quality of life and too often shortens life. There is a natural solution to the normal progressions that are carried along with age.  That is to change to a lifestyle which will help the body to better lower the amount of accumulated toxins and reduce the amount of obstructions. As these two reduce the body can not only slow progression of disease but it also can result in reverse the cause of disease within the body and open the door to reverse aging.

Why Evolution and Biblical Christianity Cannot Coexist

There’s a popular myth floating around in modern churches — that evolution and Christianity can somehow be harmonized. That maybe God used evolution. That Genesis is “symbolic.” That Adam and Eve weren’t really the first humans, just representative figures. That myth is not harmless. It strikes at the very heart of the Gospel. Because if evolution is true, then the Bible is not. And if the Bible is not true in Genesis, it cannot be trusted in John 3:16 either. Let’s be blunt: evolution is not a scientific theory seeking truth; it is a religious philosophy designed to eliminate God. And it’s been remarkably successful in doing so — not because it proved God wrong, but because too many Christians surrendered before the fight even began.

Fasting

By Clint Young The typical reaction when someone reads or hears the words, "fast" or "fasting" is to immediately think of someone in a religious classification that they don't want to be part of. Overall, these words strike a negative chord with most. And most certainly want to avoid what their perception of a fast is or what it might involve.  This typical reaction is both unfortunate and quite inaccurate.  Actually, each person fasts each day when they sleep. Fasting is when one is not eating. Looking at daily fasting, this period of time can be as short as 3-5 hours for some to as long as 20-22 hours for others.

Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson – Audio Tapes

Prayer of Jabez audio tapes digitized to mp3 files. Each side is about 30 minutes long. I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation and have listened several times in the process of digitizing the tape.  Delightful, entertaining, simple and profound all at the same time! You may be able to listen without downloading depending on what device you are on, but you can download the files as you wish if that works better for you.  The files should be available to share with others if you want to do that also. This presentation was originally given at an Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) meeting around the year 2000 about the same time the book Prayer of Jabez came out from comments made.

The Path to Holiness by Jesse C. Jones

I (Jesse C. Jones) chose the above title to reflect my understanding of what the Bible tells us about God’s plan and purpose in sending His only Son to earth in the form of a man. We know that Jesus came to restore God’s chosen ones to favor through spiritual regeneration. The path He chose is marked with milestones described herein. This book was originally published in paperback but is now no longer readily available in print. It is available here online with a different cover than the version in print. You may read it online or download it in pdf format below.
