Kentucky Bill Would Ban Enforcement of Federal Gun Control; Past, Present and Future

The legislation would ban the state, its political subdivisions and all of their agencies from enforcing any past, present, or future federal “acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, rules, and regulations," that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.

Fake “Sanctuary” in Utah: House Passes Bill that Ensures Federal Gun Control Enforcement will Continue

But the legislation includes so many exceptions it would do virtually nothing in practice or effect. And language in the bill will likely be a green light for state and local law enforcement to keep working with the ATF to violate the 2nd Amendment.

Titled “Protection of Natural Right to Property and Self-defense,” the legislation would ban any entity or person, including any public officer or employee of the state and its political subdivisions, from enforcing any past, present or future federal acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, court orders, rules, regulations, statutes, or ordinances that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.

Oklahoma Bill Would Ban Enforcement of Some Federal Gun Control; Pistol Braces, Frame or Receiver Rule and More

SB736 would amend that law to prohibit state and local government agencies and their employees from enforcing, assisting in the enforcement of, or otherwise cooperating in the enforcement of a "federal ban" on firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition. It would also prohibit state and local agencies from expending public funds for the enforcement of the same.
