FIRE Coalition features OK Rep. Charles Key on June 4th

On Friday, June 4, 2010, the FIRE Coalition, working with our partners at the Patriot Coalition and November Patriots, will hold our first National Security Conference of 2010 in the old Kansas Supreme Court Chambers in the Kansas State Capitol Building, in Topeka, Kansas. Whether it is amnesty for illegal aliens, the nearly 10% unemployment rate, or the rising instances of drug cartel and gang crime along our southern border, our elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels need to work together for the American People. On Saturday, June 19th, we will hold our second national security conference of 2010 in Hamilton, Ohio.

AP: Rand Paul Wins Kentucky GOP Primary – by a huge margin!

Political novice Rand Paul jumped ahead in the Republican Senate primary in Kentucky on Tuesday, powered by tea party activists eager to jolt the establishment. Democratic Sens. Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania and Blanche Lincoln in Arkansas struggled uncertainly for nomination to new Senate terms. Looks like a huge victory for Rand Paul in Kentucky! Constitutional Liberty Lovers around the globe are celebrating the win and working in their own districts to make sure that bailout voters are replaced with people who will protect and defend the Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

Gag me with a spoon – UN gives advice to AZ now

We have asked nicely that you respect our borders and our laws. What part of rule of law, protecting our borders, ethical standards, not stealing from others, not taking advantage of others, protecting our sovereignty, moral values, and common courtesy do illegal aliens not understand. We stand with Arizona in putting their foot down and doing what the federal government has failed to do since 911. The first thing that must happen is to secure our borders. The second thing that must happen is to remove economic incentives for industries to hire illegal aliens. The third thing that must happen is to forcibly remove anyone caught violating our immigration laws. No sanctuary cities, no free medical, no checks in the mail to mailboxes just across the border.

Let's Call a Duck a Duck

When something has feathers, a bill, waddles, and quacks...you'd think it would be difficult to deny...it's a duck! But there's a lot of denial going around these days, in fact it seems practically epidemic. Despite any and all evidence presented, people do not want to believe what's staring them right in the face. What's being denied primarily is bad ethics, but also, there is denial of questionable associations, and agendas. The fact that bad ethics don't seem to bother so many people sure bothers me, so I've actually spent a good deal of time thinking about it. I've realized that the difficulties we're experiencing as a country are reflected in recent events within the movement to put a stop to out of control government. So, lacking any other term, I must say, events inside the Tea Party "movement" are reflective of what has been plaguing us as a country.
