The Ways of Life

Editor’s Note: My dear friend Clint Young currently lives in the Philippines and is in his 70’s. He like so many of us has battled some health issues and sought the Lord about ways to live longer and healthier and serve the Lord in the process. I believe the things he lists may possibly help others and have his permission to publish his findings. My prayer is that you seek the Lord for health and wisdom in application and adapt the list to your needs!

The human body is designed to provide many years of life in a continual disease free, good feeling, and functional state.  Such can come about by living a lifestyle that properly nourishes the body while keeping toxins and obstructions at a minimal level.

Most accumulate higher levels of toxins and obstructions as they age.  Higher levels of toxins and obstructions cause pain, inflammation and disease.  This in turn in results in a lower quality of life and too often shortens life.

There is a natural solution to the normal progressions that are carried along with age.  That is to change to a lifestyle which will help the body to better lower the amount of accumulated toxins and reduce the amount of obstructions. As these two reduce the body can not only slow progression of disease but it also can result in reverse the cause of disease within the body and open the door to reverse aging. 

Below are listed some powerful helps which I have found to help better nourish the body while reducing toxins and obstructions:

1.  Express thankfulness to God for your body.

2.  Ask God for His wisdom on how to best take care of your body.

3.  Do what God shows you to do.

4.  Listen to what your body is saying.

5.  Honor your father and mother so your days will be long on the earth.

6.  Improve daily fasting times.  Ideally, increase your daily fasting times until you are intermittent fasting every day.

7.  Occasionally fast for 24 hours or more.

8.  Eat fruit in the correct way.

9.  Exercise regularly , but don’t over do it.

10.  Obtain at least 7 hours sleep during your longest sleeping time.

11.  Avoid/reduce mucus forming foods (high albumin foods)

12.  Avoid high blood glucose spikes

13.  Obtain and maintain a cleaner gut.

14.  Be alcohol free.

15.  Be caffeine free.

16.  Rest on the sabbath.

17.  Avoid non-Kosher foods.

18.  Avoid/reduce drugs.

19.  Avoid/reduce oils high in omega-6.

20.  Avoid/reduce processed foods.

21.  Increase vitamin D3 levels preferably via more sun on more skin.  

For the average person, the above will help them to better nourish their body with what it really needs while lowering toxin levels and the number of obstructions.
