… a story about potential help for cats experiencing kidney failure
by Sandra Crosnoe
Ivory is 15 years old (2017) and recently she was getting pretty lethargic, loosing weight and not grooming herself properly, so I took her to Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic in Dewey on January 25th. They did a blood analysis on her and found she was in early stage renal (kidney) failure. This is the story of how we discovered stem cell therapy and what that process has been like for Ivory.
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. I Corinthians 15:20
If you are just starting a family or well on the way you don’t want to miss this series. i’ve only known Rachael Joy Tapp for a few years, but it seems like we’ve been friends forever. She has wisdom beyond her years. She lives in the Panhandle with her husband, Joshua and their children.
Rachael and Joshua lost their first child during the pregnancy. They have a precious two year old daughter, Hadassah, and just recently gave birth to premature twins, Levi and Gideon. So she has a bit of life experience but she wraps that in practical tips and guidance from above. I know you will enjoy each segment so be sure to connect with her and her blog. I will try to add links to this post as they are released.
Here is her own bio in her own words.
Here is the series announcement.

William Norman Grigg died this afternoon. He was a journalist, broadcaster, editor, musician, father, husband, and self-described Christian Individualist. He was also my hero.
Will’s main beat was stories about individual victims of the state: particularly Americans who have been unjustly imprisoned or wrongfully assaulted by government officers. His research for each article was exhaustive. From his home in Idaho, he traveled all around the northwest to get the story in person. He would get to know each subject personally, and seek face-to-face interviews with their powerful persecutors. His tireless work has saved several innocent lives from being slowly drained away in prison. He wrote so many pieces about Christopher Tapp, a man who has spent two decades in prison for a murder he did not commit, that the Libertarian Institute, where he was managing editor, will publish a whole book collecting them.

[Editor’s note: Will Grigg stood in the gap for all of us for many years. He will be greatly missed. My personal condolences to his family./sc]

FORT SUPPLY, Okla. (KOKH) — Residents in Northwest Oklahoma are being asked to evacuate immediately due to large grass fires spreading. A fire warning has been issued for the towns of Fort Supply, Laverne and Buffalo in Harper County. Residents of Fort Supply have been asked to evacuate south toward Woodward, where a shelter is available at the Woodward Pioneer Room, located at 1212 9th Street. (see rest of the story here via OKCFox)
From the Tapp family in Cimarron County further west:

I have witnessed dawn at night, driving through Buffalo. Massive fire line moving southeast. Much loss for friends of ours.
Trump says a lot in a few words “We must do a lot more with less” Hiring freezes are already in place and he is working on a cabinet that knows how to manage wisely. All this bodes well for the overworked American taxpayer.
Congratulations to Mick Mulvaney — here’s the backstory and some insight into how good he is as an appointment .
“Part of the job is saying ‘no,'” Mulvaney told The Post and Courier on Friday, less than 24 hours after being sworn in as the new Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas, current National Director of OR/OSA states, “Looking back on how the Lord has used this ministry, we rejoice in the thousands of lives that have been spared, the souls that have been saved, like Miss Norma, and the many death camps that have been shut down. We pray the death of Roe (Miss Norma) prophetically signals the death of Roe vs. Wade. May the destroyer of men made in the image of God be destroyed in Jesus’ mighty name!”
With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in God’s likeness. My brothers, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. James 3:9-12
Isn’t it interesting how good and evil can come forth from the same mouth? One minute we are praising God and the next we are cursing or tearing down our fellow man. Out of the same mouth that praises God comes insults, cursing, slander, gossip, etc., etc. The Bible tells us that this should not be. It also tells us that the tongue is very difficult to tame and control. I believe, though, that with God’s help, it can be tamed and controlled.

“For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.”

A draft of the summary statement that will be released at the conclusion of the 70 nation conference in Paris on Sunday has been leaked. As you will see below, this communique is going to call for the division of the land of Israel, for the establishment of a Palestinian state, for the 1967 borders to serve as the basis for final negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and for the condemnation of any officials that refuse to support a two state solution. Of course this comes on the heels of UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which many believe represented America’s greatest betrayal of Israel. Israeli government officials are publicly warning that there is a possibility that the principles agreed upon at this conference may form the basis for another Security Council resolution before January 20th, and this is something that we should all be watching for very closely.
Editor’s note: It is definitely time to pray!
In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. I will enter into judgment with them there regarding My people and My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is – there is Liberty!
May you be where He is and go where He leads.
May you know His Will, His Way, His Word and His Touch as you go…
And so once again I send blessings from my house to yours. I thank God for your friendship and your labor for Life and Liberty in our land.

Pray and Vote – hopefully in that order!
For several days now I have been wanting to do a post on judicial retention in Oklahoma. Sadly, I was never able to find the information that I wanted to do a post I would have been satisfied with. It is election eve and many of you have already voted in early voting. I apologize for that, but this is all that I have found. My summary version on how I plan to vote is that at the moment of writing this Hudson is the only one I plan to vote to retain. My general philosophy is “When in doubt, vote them out.” Hudson was the only one I could find any philosophical reasons to support him. OCPAC said,
He was recently appointed by Gov. Fallin to the Criminal Court of Appeals. Hudson appears to be a serious Christian, and everyone consulted gave him very high marks.
You can often tell a little about the judicial slots by who appointed them and that tells you a little about the current problems we face (that information on appointments is documented in the Sooner Politics article referenced below.
The best article I found was published by OCPAC. The section on judges is reprinted here:
