Now Playing; Mark Levin on the Friday Budget Deal

Levin said he’d be on Cavuto today (Sat), and I assumed he’d nail Congress on the budget mess. Unfortunately, I’m working and I figured I’d miss it.

Fortunately, RS McCain had me covered;

Levin makes the point that the federal government never closes; in fact, more offices would be open during a government shut down than would be during a Federal holiday!

Meanwhile, after all the wrangling and deal making in the eight days preceding “The Deal” to cut $38.5 billion dollars, the debt itself jumped $54.1 billion.

The debt was $14.2101 trillion on March 30, according to the Bureau of the Public Debt, and $14.2642 on April 7.
Since the beginning of the fiscal year on Oct. 1, 2010, the national debt has increase by $653.4 billion.

We’re saved!
