If your people didn’t suffer more past abuse than his people, don’t bother him.
US Attorney General Eric Holder has finally admitted his agenda. Get even. Seems no other way to describe his thought processes given what he admitted yesterday at a US House subcommittee hearing on Tuesday;
Despite the lack of interest by the mainstream media, the revelation that New Black Panther maniacs who intimidated voters were not prosecuted because of a Justice Department policy of only enforcing civil rights laws if the plaintiffs are not Caucasians will not go away. Eric Holder, who denounced the USA as a “nation of cowards,” has stuck his foot in his mouth once again by revealing that his loyalty to his race comes long before any loyalty to the law or America:
Attorney General Eric Holder finally got fed up Tuesday with claims that the Justice Department went easy in a voting rights case against members of the New Black Panther Party because they are African American.
Holder’s frustration over the criticism became evident during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing as Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) accused the Justice Department of failing to cooperate with a Civil Rights Commission investigation into the handling of the 2008 incident in which Black Panthers in intimidating outfits and wielding a club stood outside a polling place in Philadelphia.
The Attorney General seemed to take personal offense at a comment Culberson read in which former Democratic activist Bartle Bull called the incident the most serious act of voter intimidation he had witnessed in his career.
“Think about that,” Holder said. “When you compare what people endured in the South in the 60s to try to get the right to vote for African Americans, and to compare what people were subjected to there to what happened in Philadelphia — which was inappropriate, certainly that… to describe it in those terms I think does a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line, who risked all, for my people,” said Holder, who is black.
[My emphasis above]
What this seems to say is;
… Eric Holder has told the vast majority of the American people, Asian, Middle-Eastern, Native Americans, white, Hispanic, and so on, that in his mind you are an Other. Not one of his kind. But we are supposed to believe he enforces the law in a color blind fashion?
Not like Holder’s Justice Department had to so much as lift a finger here to prove a case, this case, as Andy McCarthy points out, they had already won;
This is not a situation in which, as Politico disingenuously implies, a mere investigation straddled two different administrations and the second decided to drop it. Charges were filed here. Team Obama did not merely abandon an investigation; they abandoned a formal complaint that had been brought in court by career prosecutors in the name of the American people. Further, the Panthers had ignored that complaint, and thus there had been a legal default. A U.S. judge was poised to enter judgment in favor of the United States. Only then, having prevailed, having reached a point in the litigation where the Panthers had intentionally forfeited their right to litigate the legal standards about which Thernstrom writes, did Holder’s minions order the line prosecutors to dismiss the case.
Of the two thugs in front of that polling place in question, Thug 1 was none other than King Samir Shabazz, who can be seen here flying his true colors;
Eric Holder showed his true colors as well; justice is not blind in these United States with him as US Attorney General. At least not color blind. He called the citizens of the United States “a nation of cowards” (video here) on the subject of race (which, in leftist defined terms equals “skin color”), and himself took a courageous stand by showing us all he’s really a racist at heart.
That kind of courage we don’t need as Attorney General of the United States.
