The Messianic Line by Jesse C Jones

The Bible states that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of the seed of David. Our book concludes that a regenerated (without a sin nature) seed, bonds with an egg in Mary’s body, to begin a gestation period ending nine-months later in a stable in the town of Bethlehem. When the Holy Spirit came upon Mary, the power of the Most High brooded over her much as He did when He created our world: to bring about a process that led to the birth of our Lord and Savior. Thus, Jesus was born of His father David, and His mother Mary, who was a descendant of David through His son Nathan (see Luke 3:23-38). This book describes the genealogy leading up to the Lord’s birth from the beginning to the flood, from the flood to Abraham, from Isaac through Judah, from Pharez through David, and ultimately to the birth of Christ.

Bible Stumbling Blocks by Jesse C. Jones

The chapters in this book are about eight different subjects that seemed to me worth collecting into this volume: 1) believing or not believing what the Bible says about God; 2) Jesus taking our sins; 3) biblical forgiveness; 4) temptation(s), 5) the rapture/resurrection of God’s elect 6) when does God give the Holy Spirit, 7) strongholds, and 8) dead or alive. Although I (Jesse C. Jones) know that God has led me to write on many different subjects, and has given me guidance and insight in the writing, I do not know if others can, or will, accept this writing as truth from God’s Word. I have attempted to accurately interpret what the KJV of the Bible records on the subjects God has led me to, but in many cases what I have written differs from accepted Bible exposition. I hope that readers will be led to check everything I have written against God’s Holy Bible. If they do, this writing will certainly have achieved one of God’s purposes in putting me on this path. God has taught me much about Himself during this time, and that may be the purpose He had in convincing me to undertake this task: I have been greatly blessed by doing His will in this effort. The book is 171 pages.

Can God by Known? by Jesse C Jones

The wisdom of God is obviously beyond our comprehension, but with His book (the Bible), and guidance from the Holy Spirit, we may be able to grasp at least an inkling of His nature, as it relates to bringing some to eternal life. This is the task undertaken in this book. I can only pray that what is documented here accurately describes God’s purposes, thoughts, and understanding in this great mystery, so that some insight concerning these things can be conveyed to readers. This book is 86 pages.

Has God Divorced America? by Jesse C Jones

I recently came across a prophecy by David Wilkerson having to do with the state of our nation, and its need for revival. He pointed out that we cannot have faith for revival unless we are convinced that God still wants to pour out His Spirit upon us. He makes his point here by comparing America to Judah, the Southern Kingdom of the Jews, after the Northern Kingdom of Israel had been conquered by Sargon, King of Assyria, in 722 B.C. “God had already divorced Israel, giving them . . . a certificate of divorce” (Jeremiah. 3:8). But now His attention was on Judah, a people who had cheated on Him and walked away from him. God still had a heart for Judah, and He came to them crying to see the certificate of divorce (see Isa. 50:1). He was saying, ‘Show Me your divorce papers! Prove to Me I ever put you away. It was you who walked away from Me! I did nothing to grieve or hurt you. I loved you the whole time. I came to you and I called to you!’ ” Editor's Note: This book was written before the overturn of Roe vs Wade in June 2022.

The Mystery of God by Jesse C Jones

This book presents an analysis of the biblical scriptures that prophesy events that must come about just before and after Jesus Christ returns to earth in the clouds to gather His elect in what is referred to as the rapture/resurrection. His coming to earth occurs in two phases: 1) to gather those identified in the Bible as the elect given to Him by God the Father, and 2) to bring Satan’s rule as prince of this world to an end by defeating his hordes at the battle of Armageddon. It is the first phase of Christ’s coming that is the focus of this writing.

The Spiritual Life by Jesse C Jones

This book attempts to describe the significant spiritual events in the life of man from beginning to end, from the “womb to the tomb” so to speak. Emphasis is placed primarily on patterns God has established, and how development of the spiritual life in man seems to follow these patterns. I believe God has given us these patterns, or clues, regarding our spiritual development so that we can have confidence as He guides us along our path through life. In this regard I believe the dictionary definition of the word “analogy” helps us to understand what God was hoping to achieve: “. . . an explaining of something by comparing it point by point with something else”. This book has 92 pages.

Dialogue with an Atheist by Jesse C Jones

The author Jesse C. Jones says. "Several years ago I was invited to a party at a neighbor’s house. One of the attendees was the husband of a friend of the hostess, and in describing this person to me the hostess mentioned that he was a medical doctor who claimed to be an atheist. I immediately took this to be a challenge, and responded that I would purposely single this person out at the party to see if God would begin to work in his heart. Later, during the party, I drew him into a discussion, which led to my giving him a book that I hoped would provide some answers to the problem he had with evil in the world. This was a book written by Bob Mumford entitled: “The Purpose of Temptation”. A dialogue subsequently ensued that lasted for several months. I would give him books to read, he would respond with a written rebuttal, and I would reply. I wish with all my heart that I could say that my efforts were successful in getting my new acquaintance to reconsider his unbelief, but such was not the case. He later relocated to another part of the country where his family subsequently broke up, and he finally ended it all by taking his own life." This is the dialogue that ensued and is offered here in the hopes that the readers will profit from this experience and come to know the Lord in a deeper way and be able to share Him with friends and family and dinner party acquaintances too!

A Layman’s Commentary on the Revelation of Jesus Christ by Jesse C Jones

n the mid-1990’s when my wife was in the last stages of Alzheimer’s disease, I got into the habit spending the late hours of the day praying and talking to God. It was during this time that I began to sense God urging me to do something that I would never have considered doing, and certainly did not feel qualified to do under any circumstance: He continually persisted in my writing an exposition on the seven churches of the book of Revelation. Every night it was the same: He would bring it up, and I would argue that I was not qualified to undertake writing on the Bible, nor did I have the slightest insight regarding the seven churches. This went on for some time, and eventually I came across a book that had been written on the seven churches of Revelation. I thought that this was my “Aha” moment, and I immediately brought it to God’s attention, thinking that I was off the hook. No such luck, for God (as I have learned) always has a Plan B that is better, and usually bigger, in mind, and that’s when He hit me with probably what He had in mind all along: writing a commentary on the entire book of Revelation. This hit me like a ton of bricks: I had felt unqualified to write on the seven churches, now I was confronted with something so overwhelming there was no question about my inadequacy. Undoubtedly, that is where He wanted me to be all the time: totally dependent on Him for every idea, concept and interpretation that I put to paper (or computer screen in this case). So I began to study, search and write, and the words seemed to keep coming. This was something totally new to me. I had co-authored a couple of technical books in my last job as a teacher, but this was different. Here I was dealing with subjects for which I could not reach down within to draw up understanding: I had to depend totally on Him. I do not want to leave readers with the impression that everything in this book is right out of God’s mouth. What I hope is contained therein is what God gave, processed through an ordinary layman’s mind and body, and therefore susceptible to some misunderstanding. Several years ago a friend asked me why I thought God would give me knowledge that He had not given other men. My answer was that God is no respecter of persons (Ac. 10:34), He gives knowledge to those who have the greatest need and desire, with no consideration of status or position in the world. In fact, He seems to favor the least capable or honorable (1 Co. 12:22-24).
