Books Are Being Added to the Library by Jesse C Jones

Several years ago now, I worked with a dear friend and mentor to publish books for him. His name was Jesse C Jones and he was a lifetime friend of my family. His story and a little about the early days is in one of his books, A Man of God. When we originally published his books, we did so on the platform Scribd. It was a great place to store books, pamphlets, and documents and everything was free to publish and share. Since that time, they have tried to move the platform to a membership venue, but we are grandfathered in there at least for now. I don't like the way they try to get everyone who goes there to join now, but all of our books there are still free to read and download if you push past all that. But I don't know how long that will last either. Therefore, I am slowly adding the books that I want to be sure stay available to CLibertyC. I plan to leave them on Scribd as well. As these books are added, they will be indexed and linked here for your easy access below. They are being added by the date published so they are spread out back in time on this websites and not just looking as if they were current publications.

Bible Stumbling Blocks by Jesse C. Jones

The chapters in this book are about eight different subjects that seemed to me worth collecting into this volume: 1) believing or not believing what the Bible says about God; 2) Jesus taking our sins; 3) biblical forgiveness; 4) temptation(s), 5) the rapture/resurrection of God’s elect 6) when does God give the Holy Spirit, 7) strongholds, and 8) dead or alive. Although I (Jesse C. Jones) know that God has led me to write on many different subjects, and has given me guidance and insight in the writing, I do not know if others can, or will, accept this writing as truth from God’s Word. I have attempted to accurately interpret what the KJV of the Bible records on the subjects God has led me to, but in many cases what I have written differs from accepted Bible exposition. I hope that readers will be led to check everything I have written against God’s Holy Bible. If they do, this writing will certainly have achieved one of God’s purposes in putting me on this path. God has taught me much about Himself during this time, and that may be the purpose He had in convincing me to undertake this task: I have been greatly blessed by doing His will in this effort. The book is 171 pages.

Can God by Known? by Jesse C Jones

The wisdom of God is obviously beyond our comprehension, but with His book (the Bible), and guidance from the Holy Spirit, we may be able to grasp at least an inkling of His nature, as it relates to bringing some to eternal life. This is the task undertaken in this book. I can only pray that what is documented here accurately describes God’s purposes, thoughts, and understanding in this great mystery, so that some insight concerning these things can be conveyed to readers. This book is 86 pages.

Dialogue with an Atheist by Jesse C Jones

The author Jesse C. Jones says. "Several years ago I was invited to a party at a neighbor’s house. One of the attendees was the husband of a friend of the hostess, and in describing this person to me the hostess mentioned that he was a medical doctor who claimed to be an atheist. I immediately took this to be a challenge, and responded that I would purposely single this person out at the party to see if God would begin to work in his heart. Later, during the party, I drew him into a discussion, which led to my giving him a book that I hoped would provide some answers to the problem he had with evil in the world. This was a book written by Bob Mumford entitled: “The Purpose of Temptation”. A dialogue subsequently ensued that lasted for several months. I would give him books to read, he would respond with a written rebuttal, and I would reply. I wish with all my heart that I could say that my efforts were successful in getting my new acquaintance to reconsider his unbelief, but such was not the case. He later relocated to another part of the country where his family subsequently broke up, and he finally ended it all by taking his own life." This is the dialogue that ensued and is offered here in the hopes that the readers will profit from this experience and come to know the Lord in a deeper way and be able to share Him with friends and family and dinner party acquaintances too!
